Four Poster Bedroom Double Room Flexible Room

Accommodation

The Abbey Guest House has five bedrooms – giving a personal and homely feel to the house and allowing us to concentrate on looking after guests’ individual requirements.

Four Poster Rooms

Our premier rooms at the front of the house are our two Four Poster rooms.  These have en-suite shower rooms (shower, wash hand basin and toilet), four poster beds and the best views in the house over the garden, terrace and on to the river Ouse.

Superior Double

At the rear of the house is our largest room, a comfortable double with sofa and an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, wash hand basin and toilet.

The rooms is ideal for longer stays and has a comfortable TV area.

Twin/Double Room

This room is at the side of the house and has 2 single beds which can also form one super-kingsize bed - "fabulously comfortable" according to one of our guests! The room has an en-suite shower, toilet and wash hand basin.

Double Room

This room is cosy and welcoming with a wooden bedstead and feather duvet. Decorated in relaxing tones of cream and brown with pale blue accents, the room has an en-suite shower, toilet and hand wash basin.

Dining Room

Our light and airy dining room is located on the ground floor at the front of the house with double doors leading out onto our garden and terrace.  There is a great river view from the dining room and it is a lovely place to start the day in and to plan your day’s activities.  On warm mornings we serve breakfast on the terrace as well.

Garden and Terrace

The small garden is set to lawn and flower beds which provide year round interest and colour.  The terrace is surrounded by pots of flowers and plants and we have garden furniture for the use of our guests.  We are happy for guests to take time out in the garden and on the terrace and perhaps enjoy a bottle of wine on a balmy summer evening.
